- How to get a contactless enabled card

If your existing card is not contactless enabled, you don't have to worry, as a new contactless card will be issued when your existing card expires.

If you can't wait, and want a contactless card now, you can cancel your existing card and order a new one at your closest branch.

Don't have an FNB card? Apply via Online Banking, or visit your nearest branch.

*Debit card replacement fee is N$145 per card. Credit Card gives you one free replacement card a year, thereafter it's N$145 per card.

Currently FNB Pay Checkout is only available on the eBucks website, however will be extended to other platforms and merchants.

What does it cost?

There are no fees or charges for using the service.

Is it secure?

Yes, FNB Pay Checkout uses the latest technology to secure the transaction and negates the need for capturing sensitive card information. All you need to do is select the card to pay with using the secure FNB Banking App. The resulting transaction is fully 3D Secure compliant ensuring the relevant protections for both the cardholder and merchant.

When you tap your FNB Debit or Credit card on the contactless enabled point of sale device, your card information is instantaneously transmitted, and your purchase can be processed. It's safe, simple and fast.

How to Pay

Pay your way in 3 easy steps

Look out for the contactless symbol in-store and on the point of sale device



Step 2

Once you are ready to pay, just to tap your card and enter your PIN on the point of sale device



Step 3

The transaction is complete when the green light displays

Your contactless card is accepted at retailers locally and internationally displaying the contactless symbol.

As an additional security feature, you will be required to enter your PIN.
