The Act regulates companies comprehensively. Please note that a totally new Companies Act has been promulgated but implementation thereof suspended until notification in the Government Gazette.

This Act replaced the Bank of Namibia Act of 1990. The Act provides for the continuation of the Bank of Namibia as a Central Bank. It also regulates the issue of bank notes, coins and the monetary system in Namibia. Read the Bank of Namibia Act here.
